RFQ Notes:
Production of a helmet. Rigid ABS plastic,sm/sm gloss, for
use as small novelty motorcycle helmet that will be used
for pets. Class "A" finish required on outside. The
current fabricator uses ABS-HI .25" vacuum-thermoform
process with CNC trimming. Buyer is open to a clear
Polycarb shell that is paintable on the inside. Possible
assembly and paint work available also. CNC required.
Currently in production. Buyer will send a sample to
interested parties. Please quote from .stl file if
possible. Please contact buyer with any questions. Buyer
has 4 different sizes (from 4" to 7" diameter across
bottom) with aluminum molds.

The 4-on mold base is 24x24 wood mold base. The helmet details are cast aluminum details
with a 3/4" wall thickness. The mold base holds 4 details at a time. You have (1) 7.5", (1)
6.5", (2) 5.5", and (2) 4.5" details. Each detail is attached to mold base from the back side.
The CNC trim fixture has 4 female pockets that match the helmets The helmets are held
inverted using vacuum. The helmets’ trim is CNC end-cut (3 axis) one at a time.
