TMS is a family owned and operated business established in 1979. Robin Teeling, the owner, has over 46 years of extensive and varied experience in all phases of tool and die, machine shop work, machinery fabrication and repairs, production tooling and manufacturing, heavy equipment operation, maintenance and repair. At TMS, we specialize in troubleshooting and problem-solving in all aspects of manufacturing processes. Our staff includes licensed tool and die makers, machinists and apprentices. Customers can be assured of dealing directly with the owner regarding any phase of a project.

We are able to adapt quickly to any changes requested or required during the manufacturing process, and can offer flexibility in any changes necessary in delivery schedules, etc. We can provide expert advice on design and cost effectiveness, as well as recommendations to improve existing designs or costs on projects or products. We are always looking at bringing new ideas or recommendations on improving ways to accomplish an end result. Our extensive experience and our willingness to try unconventional or innovative methods to solve problems in design or repair have earned us a reputation of being able to handle jobs that others can’t do, won’t do, or are considered “impossible”.

We serve all major industries that use mechanical equipment in their operations, including:Automotive, Food, Electrical switchgear components manufacturers, Security/safety, agricultural, Military armaments, Plastics, Specialty filter manufacturers, Concrete, Transportation, Furniture and Hardware, Brewery, Heavy equipment, and Metal Fabricating.

We fabricate (and design if required) production toolage, including dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures and gauges, etc., repair production toolage, including tool steel welding, as required, fabricate (and design if required) special purpose machines or machine parts, perform hard-surfacing and build up of worn parts and shafts, and provide both plunge and wire EDM services.

We specialize in rebuilding and/or modifying damaged or worn dies, and have extensive experience in progressive dies, transfer dies, draw dies and blanking dies. We are experienced in the manufacture of special purpose machinery for a broad range of applications, including modifications to existing systems, and work closely with our customers to determine their requirements and develop equipment that is specifically suited for their purpose.
