RFQ Notes:
We are a new high-tech start-up that is seeking a long-term relationship with a fabricator.
This part is a chassis component for a digital audio product. The part requires holes cut in the sheet, then 4 bends made, to form the rectangular shape. Two welds made along the meeting line on the under-belly of the part to join the two ends.
The inner dimensions of the bent shape are the most important. Faceplates will be fitted onto the open front and back of the part, tolerances of +/-0.005" requested. Finish is extremely important - #4 brushed finish, typical of kitchen appliances on the outer side.
For the quantities I am asking for, I presume that laser cutting the holes is most economical.
Please let me know if you can do this part for us! If you cannot do the whole job, let us know which aspects you can do - anything that will help us get this part made will be useful.
