RFQ Notes:
Standard steel wire/rod, 3/8 dia x .83 inch long +/- 0.05 Knurl one end .40 inch +/- 0.05. Knurling so that part may be ultrasonic welded into Injection Molded Plastic part. Advise lowest cost knurling that you recommend for this application. Pull out forces (tension) are extremely small (< 1 LB.) See jpeg attachment for sketch. Finish: Zinc Plated Quote complete with material & finish. Break out Tooling/Engineering costs, if any, separately.
