This part is a key component of a new product that we are launching in the early part of next year.
This part has never been manufactured before - so - even though we would like to launch the product quickly - we think it is wise to make only a small number of parts (36) in the first run - to allow us to tweak the design prior to running a larger quantity.
We expect that demand on this part will run between 1,000 and 3,000 pcs per year - and we expect the life of this product to be in the 4 to 5 year range - possibly longer.
In other words, this is not a one time order. We are looking for a long term supplier.
This part was designed in Pro-E. Therefore, we can supply files in many formats per your request - including but not limited to - DXF, IGS, STP.
We would prefer if you could provide quotes based on the PDF file attached to this RFQ, as we simply cannot respond to all requests for additional files and information. Once a PO is placed with a particular vendor, at that point we can work more closely to refine and clarify any minor details.
