Located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, The Machining Center Inc. (TMC) provides full-service, custom machining and fabrication to a diverse customer base. TMC was established in 1988 and is staffed with a knowledgeable and professional workforce. With a broad range of in-house capabilities, including but not limited to, manual milling, turning, drilling as well as CNC milling (including 4th axis) , CNC turning, welding, 3D design & 3D digital scanning, The Machining Center is able to satisfy client requirements from product inception through to final machining or fabrication. TMC recently reached two new milestones by celebrating its 20th year in business as well as becoming ISO 9001:2000 registered.
TMC utilizes a 10,000 sq. ft. shop comprising of a 5,000 sq. ft. Machine Shop and a 5,000 sq. ft. Fabrication Shop. The shop is set up as a low-run production shop (typically 1 to 200 pieces) with an emphasis on specialized application design and manufacturing. TMC is versatile enough to work with its clients, utilizing knowledge and experience to provide feedback and advice to customers to help optimize and improve their designs. We are a custom machine and automation equipment manufacturer. We have a fully staffed engineering department, machine / fabrication shop and machine assembly department. We routinely design, engineer and manufacture machinery for a wide range of industries as well as supply precision machined components to our customers. Our engineering department has been supplying cutting edge designs and solutions for over 18 years. Our machine shop is experienced in machining a wide range of metals and plastics and can work from a 3D model or a paper drawing. Our assembly department is highly skilled in assembling, testing and commissioning precision automation equipment. We also design, build and program all of our own control panels and electrical / pneumatic circuits.
Our machinery meets all applicable safety standards. We integrate many brand names of PLC's, servos and drives including Allen Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix. We utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, part and assembly details and use AutoCad for 2D concepts, electrical/pneumatic drawings and plant layouts. Our machine shop utilizes SolidCam, CNC G-code and CNC Conversational.
