RFQ Notes:
We are looking for a manufacturer who is capable of doing plastic injection molding and product assembly on a large scale. Your non-binding quote will be preceeded by a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement from your sources. We will be placing an order within 45 days. We require: a plastic body injection molded in two identical pieces of polypropylene with integral snap closures for assembly. Approximate size 1/ 1/2 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Finish: SPE/SPI No 6 a separate "grip" approximately 5/8" oval with elevated curved ridges will be molded in Santoprene (Elastomer). The finish will be SEP/SPI No 3 a separate "cap" approximately 3/4" will be injected molded in Polypropylene in a SEP/SPI finish of NO 3. These caps may be either flat or cuved and may be textured or have a design (i.e., fleurs-de-lis)
Please provide lead times, cost of mold, etc. Our production requirements will start at approximately 250,000 to 1,000,000 parts per month. Assembly will involve the above pieces, a small metal stamped part and blister-pack for shipping to U.S.
We can provide a CD with sufficient engineering drawings for a more finite quote.
