RFQ Notes:
Top:
Piece is the top half of a spherical (2” diam.) mold used for low-temperature molding of primitive prototypes. Material is 2024 Aluminum.
Location holes must be dimensioned precisely (.001") relative to center of mold. Two 1/16" dowel pins are used as location pins. They are press fit into the bottom mold piece, and should slide precisely into top locator holes.
Clamp holes (.29") are for 1/4-20 bolts.
Bottom:
Same: 1/16” locator pins (dowel pins) should be press-fit into locator holes in bottom part. Quote should include locator pin assembly.
