Production of a spinner tree. Approximately 4.11" OD x
3.25" long. Please see drawing for complete dimensions.
This item is used on the bench and in the field to assist
TIG welders in attaching ferrells to runs of pipe or tube.
Mostly used in food grade process piping jobs. Usually
argon back-gas is flowed into "tree" while ferrell is set
on "tree". The attachment fitting, (i.e. a 45 degree elbow
or a 90 degree elbow or a short "pup" is aligned and
tacked up then welded out by "spinning" the entire
assembly on the tree. Results in a sounder weld in a
shorter time especially on many of the same items. Items
will be anodized in assorted colors per machine shops
choice (red, Blue, gold, black, purple, etc. ) Buyer has
no preference in color choice.
