RFQ Notes:
There are three different parts in this quote. Each tank
will require one line boss, four mounting bosses and one
drain boss. Please quote these as sets of 6 items
per set.
The parts are:
Line Boss
Milling and turning of a line boss. Approximately 3.500"
long x 1.000" wide. Please see drawing for dimension
specifications. This part used so the oil lines connect
to an oil tank. The outer face has 1/8” NPT
holes for the lines. Buyer calls out two sets of “text
engraving” in the print. The engravings are not critical,
but nice to have.
Mounting Boss
Milling and turning of a mounting boss. Approximately
1.000" OD x 1.000" long. Please see drawing for dimension
specifications. These parts are 1/4”-20 blind tapped
bosses that will be welded into the tank body to mount it.
Drain Boss
Milling and turning of a drain boss. Approximately 1.250"
OD x 0.625" long. Please see drawing for dimension
specifications. This part is a 5/8”-18 UNF boss for a
drain plug.
