This is a small heatsink, protective cover, & EMI shield
for electronic components to be
mounted on a printed circuit board.
It is aproximately 5.8" x 3.8" x 0.6" CNC milled from
6063-T5 aluminum or similar.
(Exact alloy & hardness not critical) The tightest
tolerance is +/-3 mils (0.003") There
are cooling fin features on one side, and mounting &
component cooling bosses on the
other.and To simplify fabrication it was designed such
that a single mill bit size could
be used.
Include anodizing in the quote. Some surfaces are non-
anodized, method (masking or
post-anodizing machining) not critical.
