RFQ Notes:
We are a very busy manufacturer of after-market parts for
remote controlled cars and trucks. We manufacture most
products in house but we do have a need for a "go to" shop
to handle the over flow. This particular part would be an
ongoing requirement of aprox 50-
100+ per month. The
attached drawing is mainly for reference to formulate your
bid and does not contain all the necessary dimensions. The
machining programs control all the hole positions etc. The
jpg file of the actual part show a pair of parts
but this rfq is for 1 pc. each not for
pairs. The selected
suppplier will be asked to sign a "non
Disclosure agreement and a "no compete" agreement as these
parts are of our design and propriety. Please do not
quote if you are unwilling to sign a NDA
and have it notarized. We will
supply the winning bidder with the part
programs (Haas code) and a sample part. Please do not
quote if you DO NOT have a Haas
mill available to run the parts. Our shop records
indicate that the part cycle times is about 16 minutes and
is 3 operations (2 hours total setup
time). There are no super critical tolerances
but the parts are very cosmetic and have to look good
with very nice surface finishes. We prefer
to do business with smaller shops where we can
communicate directly with the owner/machinist. Thank you fo
r taking the time to quote.
