RFQ Notes:
This RFQ is for a part that we have made in house for some
time. Because of increasing
demand for our products we are looking for new sources to
send out machining to. The
first order will be of 10 pieces and really is just a test
order to see if the quality from the
awarded shop matches the quality of what we do in house.
Once that is determined to be
the case, the job is yours for at least 50 units at a time
on future orders. We ask that the
supplier, if a new supplier to us, sign a NDA agreement
and have it notorized before we can
issue the purchase order. This is just a one time
requirement and would cover all work that
your company would do for us. The drawing supplied just
has a few basic dimensions for
reference as the cnc program controls all part dimensions
such as hole locations etc. We
will supply the part programs in "Haas Code" and a sample
part to be matched in surface
finishes and dimensions. The total cycle time is 13
minutes with a liberal 2.0 hours total
setup time.
