The specific Machining process that was specified is Milling and Turning.
 The specified material is Metal-Aluminum.
This RFQ was for 1, 20, and 50 Assemblies. The estimated annual usage is 3,000.

RFQ Notes:

Production of a heat housing. The buyer’s assembly consists of 6 separate pieces that all fasten together via 4-48 UNF machine screws. Three of the pieces are similar in shape and the buyer will refer to these as the inner, middle, and outer cones. Two of the pieces fit together and function as a handle. The last piece, which they will refer to as the base, is the most complex of the six, and resembles a cylinder with 3 screw holes at the top and a thin flange in the center. Four of the pieces, which include the base and 3 Cones, screw together so that the base is covered by the inner cone, then by the middle cone, and finally by the outer cone. The two handle pieces fit together, and then screw on to the outside of the large cone. In five of the six solid models, there are several 0.099" holes. Every one of these 0.099" holes must be a threaded 4-48 UNF. There are 8 threaded holes in the base, 3 in the inner cone, 4 middle cone, 2 in the bottom handle, 2 in the top handle, and none in the outer cone. The tolerance required for all six of the pieces is plus or minus 0.005”, with the exception that the screw holes must be accurate enough so that all pieces can easily screw together, and the seam between the handle pieces is smooth. All of the pieces must receive a thin clear coat type II anodized layer that is food grade safe. The machining finish on the pieces is not important, with the exception that the handle pieces, the base, and the large cone are free of defects, such as dents or other cosmetic flaws. NOTE: Please quote from the attached SAT files and assembly images.
