RFQ Notes:
Machined aluminum ring (for use as a bezel over a drawn cup). This will be made from standard-sized aluminum tubing (2.25" OD, 1.75" ID), cut to short lengths (3/8") and a step machined into one end. 1 small hole to be drilled on bottom. 3 surfaces need to be clean to accept anodizing later. (You may quote anodizing separately if you have the capability). Overall OD and ID not critical (tolerance +/-0.050"), but the 2" machined cut tolerance is critical, as it will fit over a cup. 3/8" dimension is also not critical. For non-critical dimensions, though the tolerance is loose, all the parts must be consistent -- ie: if one part is 2.20" OD, they should all be close to that. You tell me what tolerances you can provide. Please also state lead-time required. Material can be any aluminium, but 6061 preferred, or anything that will look clean for anodizing.
Also, if you can supply deep-drawn cups (2" OD, 1.5" deep), please let me know.
