Machining of a carriage casting. Basically, just drilling and reaming (2) holes.
Approximately 1.46" long
x 1.375" wide x 1.125" tall. Please see drawing for
specific dimensions. Note: due date would be for
approximately 1,000 first run castings off existing
investment
Casting tooling with new casting vendor. Date of 10-28-
2005 very approximate.
Note: annual parts requirements are approxiimate minimum.
Part goes on a tool that will be sold in home depot, and
volumes have not been determined yet. Annual parts
Requirements may be several times that shown.
Fixturing strongly recommended.
1. Drill (2) 0.172" diameter holes parallel to each other
and per tolerances on drawing
2. Ream (2) 0.172" holes to .1870/.1865" diameter -
parallel to each other and per
tolerances on drawing
3. Check for and deburr holes as needed, preparatory to
powder coating
