RFQ Notes:
We usually start with 1-1/16" thick hot rolled steel plate 1020 or A36. Part is blanchard ground to .948"thick, +/-.001parallel within .001 and flat within .005. Width is 7.88" +/-.02 square to top within .001. Mill ends to 23.94" long +/-.020 square to sides within .01. Material is to be blanchard ground top and bottom, sides can be machined or ground. Material is stress relieved before grinding, must be burr free and normal blanchard finish of approx. micro 64 acceptable. Must be lightly oiled and shipped with rust prevatative paper between parts on a skid. One skid to hold about 24 plates. Cost will include freight to buyers location.
