This RFQ was for 5 Each. The estimated annual usage is 5. |
RFQ Notes:
This part is basically combines the “yoke” and “leg” parts which I have posted on this site. I would like to obtain pricing on this embodiment as well in order to determine which way is best for me. Making the part this way consolidates two parts into one, eliminates two taps, two bolts, and assembly time.
The overall thickness of the part at the .77” dimension is not very critical. The part could be made from 3/4” thick flat plate stock with no machining of the bottom surface if needed. The through hole must be located from the top of the part as shown in the front view. The top surface with the two taps should be square with the taps and through hole for accurate mounting.
The corners of the part can be rounded if needed to assist machining. Please give the size of any radii needed with quotations.
The part could be waterjet cut, or precision sawn and/or machined. The part is hidden from the end user, surface finish is not critical. I would appreciate any suggestions that may help lower the cost of the part.
I am also interested in pricing on 100, 500, and 1000 pieces. Presently, I am interested in 5 pieces for prototypes.
Please let me thank you in advance for your quote.
Sincerely, John A. Yost
