RFQ Notes:
Assembly of three parts. All parts CNC milled or turned from 6061 T6 Aluminum. Tightest tolerance is +/- .002"
Please break out the quote with separate setup charges/engineering charges and individual price for each of the three pieces. This way we can determine if we want a larger quantity.
First part is a rounded (ellipse corners) pan with a perimeter flange. Part is approximately 4.6"L x 2.6"W x 1.2"H. Thicknesses are .040 on the sides and bottom and .125" on the flange. This part must be milled.
Second part is an ellipse shaped cone piece with a face cutout and .125" center hole on top. Thicknesses varies from .040" to .110". This part can be CNC turned with secondary operations.
Third part is an ellipse shaped cone piece with a .125" hole on the bottom and a knurled finish strip on the outside. Thickness is .040". This part can be CNC turned with secondary operations.
Finish on parts must be smooth enough for metal plating. Surfaces must be smooth and all finish marks uniform and symmetrical. Finish preferred to be 32 RMS or less.
The part is an aircraft component.
