Jacksonville Advanced Machining, LLC. is located in a 6800 sq.ft. facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The business was organized to meet the high tech machining requirements of our customers demanding components having complicated designs and superior quality. We started our business in the fall of 2004 with two 16mm cnc swiss screw machines and have grown to a nine machine company in three years. We have invested in Star and Tsugami swiss type cnc screw machines ranging from 10mm to 32mm in diameter. Larger diameter turn/mill work is performed on a Eurotech Quattroflex 710 SLL and Kia Super Turn 21LMS Mill/Turn centers . Milling needs are satisfied with a Daewoo machining center. We also have in house passivation and in the process of installing laser marking and black oxide line. Heat treatement and plating needs of parts produced are provided by certified suppliers. Our process are well documented and controlled and maintained. We are well versed in statistical quality control techniques like SPC, six sigma and Taguchi's parameter design of experiments. Small company, innovative ideas, and the means to produce. Looking for a shop that can go beyond the run of the mill job shop when you really need help? We hold three patents on our OEM equipment that we design, machine, and assemble from the ground up. These machines have control systems on them that we program with PLC type programmers or with National Instruments products such as LabView. We use SolidWorks, Cosmos, and FeatureCAM to design parts and program our CNC machines. Our shop equipment includes a Haas VM3 high speed vertical machining center ("Mold Maker"), Haas TL2 lathe, Bridgeport Series I mill with 2 axis CNC and other smaller equipment such as manual sheet metal machines, Miller Dynasty TIG/stick welder, and Burr King vibratory deburring. We can provide surface finishing of parts (some done in-house, most done outside), to include metal finishes such as hard anodizing, electroless nickel plating, and cold bluing, and small part heat treating. Participating in the SME Lean Manufacturing certification process with the Bronze level body of knowledge exam and certificate successfully completed, and participating in the National Instruments Certified Associate LabView Developer program. Low corrosion parts such as aluminum brass and stainless for applications such as experimental aircraft, marine products, and outdoor sports are among our areas of interest.
