Production of a holder. Approximately 3.00" long x 1.18"
wide x 0.85" thick. Please see drawing for dimension
specifications. Approximate weight of this part is 130-140 grams (4.5-5 oz).
Buyer brazes a tungsten carbide tile onto this holder and
welds the assembly onto the conveyor (scroll) blades of an
industrial centrifuge. Previously buyer has had problems
with the precision castings developing scale and
contamination on the surface to be brazed. Also, the
surface where the tile needs to go must be perfectly
flat. Vendor must provide these with a flat and clean
braze surface.
Material is to be 17-4 PH stainless steel investment
casting to conform to ASTM spec A747, grade CB7CU-1,
condition H1150.
