RFQ Notes:
This quote is for the injection molding of two parts of a
plastic clamshell case.
The case front will be made from ABS and should maintain
+/- .005in tolerances across the
part.
The case rear will be made from ABS with 5-30% GF with
pins and threaded inserts
and the connector molded directly in.
I will provide a drawing of one of the pins to be
molded in the assembly and the threaded insert will be a
spirol 27 series 1/4-20 short
insert.
Both the case front and case rear should have a high
polish or fine texture
surface finish externally and surface finish is not a
criteria internally.
