RFQ Notes:
Production of a injection molded Septa Cap Lancet.
Approximately 22.5mm x 14.84mm x 14.5mm. Material is
Polycarbonate plastic. Quote DOW Calibre 200-22 or Lexan 925 polycarbonate material. Suggest equivalent if these are not available. Please see drawing for all
specifications. Make sure that you select the “Default”
configuration, not the “FEA” configuration. The part should
look like the attached picture when done. Note central
feature with the triangular point, as its sharpness is
important.
Please specify the minimum radius that you can produce in
your molding process. Please quote tooling separately, and
break out pricing based
on a single cavity and a two cavity mold. Buyer's ultimate
production quantities will be between 500,000 and 1,000,000
pieces per year, so Buyer will want to consider going to
more cavities down the road to reduce part cost. Buyer will
want sample parts, and have the tool qualified at the end of
the process (quote qualification separately as well).
