RFQ Notes:
Production of a "Toothpaste extractor" that could be produced easily using conventional and readily available materials and manufacturing processes. Could be produced from plastics such as ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene, or polystyrene, in variety of colors, and reasonably priced. Injection molding might be a standard approach to production. The final decision to which plastic, its specific formulation and the manufacturing process would have to be made by potential manufacturer and the buyer once the use is understood by the manufacturer. The part is to be use like a key which will turn a flexable tube on itself to push all paste out of the tube. See attachments for exact geometry, dimensions and notes. The part can be modified in size to save on cost if needed. The butterfly nut which is the only moving part can be modified if the manufacture can suggest a welding method or part that will act as a stablizer of said part that would decrease cost or ease the manufacturing method. The Package design would consists of a piece of thin, clear polystyrene which has been molded to conform to the shape of the product being glued or otherwise attached to a piece of cardboard. The product would be placed in the molded polystyrene prior to its attachment to the cardboard. NOTE: Please contact the buyer with any questions.
