IRC was and is the first nonferrous metal distributor to provide waterjet services in the Northwest. We purchased our first system in 1994, and have added three more over the years. Our FLOW table dimensions are (2) 10’ x 26’ Dual Head, (1) 8’ x 12’ Dual Head, and (1) 4’ x 8’ Dual Head. We are the largest waterjet shop in the Northwest! We maintain the largest inventory of stainless steel plate in our region as well and carry dimensions ranging from 3/16” to 3” in 304L, 316L, and 17-4ph. As a full service distributor we also maintain extensive supplies of stainless sheet, angle, flat bar, round bar, pipe, tubing, flanges and fittings. The same products are carried in 6061 aluminum and in 5052, we carry sheet.

The IRC facility is 30,000 square feet, (2) 10 Ton overhead cranes, (4) FLOW waterjets, (1) 18” wide ban saw, and (2) Hyster 60’s. We also use CAD/CAM, AUTOCAD, SIGMANEST, and FLOWMASTER for engineering and prototyping. IRC implements its own proprietary quality control system with inspection available upon request.

What sets us apart is that we are one of the few independent non ferrous metal distributors left in our region. In this age of consolidation, companies have a difficult time getting the attention of distributors whose decision makers are based in Chicago, LA, or New York. Our sales people do not price products based on what their computer tells them to do, and instead, they listen to you to determine what we need to do to meet your needs. If you do not succeed, then we have not accomplished our goal. We can also create and work with particularly difficult components. We have and currently work with such clients as the Coast Guard, Boeing, Airbus, Nike, Adidas, SAFECO Field, QWEST Stadium, and DODGER Stadium.
