Production of platform assembly per Canadian Standards
Association (CSA) requirements. Approximately 142.75" long
x 105.75" wide x 375.82" high. See attachement for
specifications, dimensions and tolerances.
Following are pertinent requirements
from the client specifications:
1. Platforms, platform supports and ladders must be fabricated by a
certified fabricator to CWB in accordance with CSA W47.1 Division 1 or
Divison 2.1
2. Welders to be qualified to CSA 47.1 Clause 9
3. Design and fabrication in accordance the Canadian Institute of Steel
Construction, Alberta Building Code, National Building Code of Canada,
Province of Alberta - OSHA-General Safety Regulation-Consolidated April 20,
1995, CAN/CSA S16-01
NFS will furnish fabrication drawings
4. Material Test Certificates will be required for all material
Welding Procedures will be required to be submitted for approval
5. Structural steel to conform to CAN/CSA-G40.21, Grade 350W
6. Channels, angles, ladders and handrails to be CAN/CSA-G40.21 Grade 300W
7. Grating to be 32 mm x 48mm serrated @ 32 mm centers with crossbars @ 102
mm centers
8. Grating to be removable
