THE COMPLETE SHAFT IS HEAT TREATED TO 32- 38 Rc. THE 21T PINION HAS THE TEETH INDUCTION HARDENED TO 45-50 Rc. AN AREA BEHIND THE PINION IS ALSO INDUCTION HARDENED TO 45-50 Rc.
