RFQ Notes:
I have one Aeroquest blank gear without a worm. This RFQ is for a wheel and worm set. I need the gear hobbed. The wheel portion is ~8 5/8" OD. The center bore is 1.5". It is .384" thick. There is a bolt on clutch. Material is aluminum. I would like to have the teeth cut into it and a worm made,.250" bore. I would like to get somewhere between 240 and 359:1 gear ratio out of the gear. Exact ratio is not relevant as long as the entire gear surface is usable. If need be, you can cut the OD of the gear (up to .250") to suit your machine/cutter TPI requirements.
Worm length an OD are up to you, as long as the gear works well. (typically I have seen 1/2" OD worms by 1" long or so). Use your best judgement.
Please don't ask for a diagram, as it would only be a 8 5/8" circle and a 1.5" circle.
