Founded in 1976, Ateliers BG specializes in the fabrication of machined parts catering to the various large scale manufacturing plants located in the Eastern Township area near the u.s. border To better address our customer’s increasing needs, the company expanded it’s floor surface from 1984 to 1995. During this rapid expansion period, the company also acquired several new technologies to enhance production such as CNC lathes, machining centers and many other specialized tools.We are continually looking for ways to better serve our customers and to further this goal the company obtained the ISO 9002-94 quality assurance certification in 1998 and ISO 9001 certification in 2000. With this increased capacity, Ateliers BG was now able to offer more services such as welding, shotblasting (jet system), industrial painting and machine assembly. The company also received CWB (W47.1 and W59) certifications.
Atelier BG operates state of the art facilities for machining, welding shot blasting and industrial painting to provide even the most demanding customers with a turnkey solution. 13 numerically controlled machines, 280 tons brake press and robot welder. For over 25 years Woodstock Precision Manufacturing has been entrenched in South Western Ontario helping manufacturers solve their custom manufacturing problems. Our business, while family owned and managed, has assembled a team of specialists whose creativity blended with state-of-the-art equipment can solve any manufacturing challenge, quickly and effectively.
Strategically positioned in the heavy traffic gateway between the U.S. border and Toronto we are geographically close and attitudinally in tune. Our 14,000 square foot facility includes four new machines that can tackle any need. In August 1998 we achieved 9002 Registration. And in 2003 we progressed to Registration of the new ISO:9001:2000 standard guaranteeing our customers strictest manufacturing standards and specifications are adhered to with a commitment to quality and timetable you want. Woodstock Precision Manufacturing was recognized in 2002 by the Woodstock and District Chamber of Commerce as we were awarded the Business Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement in Manufacturing.
We are a custom machine and automation equipment manufacturer. We have a fully staffed engineering department, machine / fabrication shop and machine assembly department. We routinely design, engineer and manufacture machinery for a wide range of industries as well as supply precision machined components to our customers. Our engineering department has been supplying cutting edge designs and solutions for over 18 years. Our machine shop is experienced in machining a wide range of metals and plastics and can work from a 3D model or a paper drawing. Our assembly department is highly skilled in assembling, testing and commissioning precision automation equipment. We also design, build and program all of our own control panels and electrical / pneumatic circuits.
Our machinery meets all applicable safety standards. We integrate many brand names of PLC's, servos and drives including Allen Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix. We utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, part and assembly details and use AutoCad for 2D concepts, electrical/pneumatic drawings and plant layouts. Our machine shop utilizes SolidCam, CNC G-code and CNC Conversational.
