RFQ Notes:
We are looking for a supplier to manufacture the components (after prototyping is successfully completed) via Thermoforming / Composites.
The supplier should have a successful history of Thermoforming / Composite manufacturing and should be technically competent enough to handle this project independently.
The Requirement is built into two parts - The Combined Frame & basin and the lids.
These two components are going to be hinged together and ar e going to be mechanically operated for opening / closing. Both of them would contain water channels for and related ducting attached to them. In addition to this the basin would contain air/CO2 channel fittings that would be attached to the Endoscopic pipes.
The current design is in Aluminum Casting and has to be suitably converted and redesigned to plastics.
The mechanical load requirement is limited to the Endoscope's weight along with the water flow plus the load that will come out of attaching/removing of the Endocope's pipes. The thermal load would be heated water 95 degC max.
I am attaching a few photographs/snapshots of the CAD model with thermal. Please let me know about the feasibility of producing this in Composites and manufacturing support from your company for manufacturing of our components.
A full drawing would be provided of the component. Meanwhil e I am attaching the basic enveloping dimensions that would help you make the decision on capacities and related matters. The basic enveloping dimension would be 920mm x 485mm x 130mm.
