RFQ Notes:
The drawing depicts two tubes that will ultimately be welded together. The tubes will be cold rolled steel 1" od with a wall of .093 or .103 or whatever is a standard wall size(the thicker the better). i am not up on my tube sizes so bear with me. Eventually the tubes may be 7/8 but quote the 1" price.
I do not quite know how to dimension a tube drawing but I think the attached drawing will get the point across.
Initially we will need a prototype run of 5 of each tube on the drawing. We would also like pricing of 100 and 250 of each, since that will be our production run. In fact our decision will be based on the quote of these quantities.
Please feel free to ask any questions. We have sheetmetal brackets on this service which will also be part of this welded assembly.
I forgot to dimesion another set of tubes we will need, but i can discuss that when we find a source for these tubes. They are only a few inches each.
I think we are looking for mandrell bends, too, but again that is up for discussion. Just quote with mandrell bends in quantities of 5, 100, and 250 for each of the tubes.
