TO KEEP THE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY AFFORDABLE TO THE END USER.
THIS UNIT IS A PROTO TYPE TO START WITH POSSIBILITIES OF
25 OR MORE A YEAR. We currently have customers waiting
on delivery and installation of this assembly. We have
lost critical time due to previously awarded supplier
unable to deliver with 3 months lead time. We are
currently loosing sales in the Bahamas.
INFORMATION ALSO NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT IS AN ASSEMBLY
DRAWING WITH SUB ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS, FRONT AND SIDE
VIEWS ALONG WITH CAD DRAWING OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTS
REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS UNIT. THE REASON FOR THIS IS PARTS
AND SERVICE MANUALS HAVE TO BE MADE, DRAWING NUMBER AND
PART NUMBERS HAS TO BE ASSIGNED. HOPEFULLY DOWN THE ROAD
SPARE PARTS WILL BE NEEDED.
I HAVE A BARGE CUSTOMER THAT WANTS TO SEE THE PROTOTYPE
IN THE BEGINNING OF MARCH - now pushed to May.
HERE IS A QUICK OVERVIEW, THINK OF THIS LIKE A HYDRAULIC
JACK PLATE FOR A OUTBOARD MOTOR, IT TRAVELS IN AND OUT
AND SOME TRAVEL IN AND OUT AND UP AND DOWN. I JUST WANT
IT TO MOVE UP AND DOWN. THIS DISTANCE OF TRAVEL CAN BE
DICUSSED DURING THIS PROCESS.
IDEAL SCENARIO IS TO FABRICATE ONE CRADLE THAT WILL WORK
IN 2 DIFFERENT POSITIONS - 60 AND 84".
AS OPTIONS FOR THIS UNIT I ALSO WANT MOUNTS MADE FOR THIS
UNIT. EACH UNIT WILL NEED TWO. THE MOUNTS WILL BE ABLE TO
BE WELDED TO THE BACK OF THE BARGE WHERE THE CUSTOMER
WANTS IT. THE FLANGE WILL HAVE MEASUREMENTS TO BE
DISCUSSED LATER BUT IT WILL LOOK JUST LIKE THE CONNECTION
(4” RAILING) THAT IS ON THE BARGE NOW. YOU CAN SEE THIS
DRAWING THAT IS ATTACHED.
ALL PARTS MUST COME PRIMED AND PAINTED WITH MARINE GRADE
PRIMER AND PAINT.
COLLABORATION IS NEEDED AND EXPECTED FROM INTERESTED
PARTIES - ON OR OFFLINE. AGAIN OUR DEADLINE IS May 5TH
FOR MAKING A NEW DECISION.
