Technical Design Resources, Inc. (TDR), is a small, veteran and woman-owned manufacturing business specializing in the fabrication, assembly, packaging, and inspection of metallic and non- metallic mechanical and industrial components. In the machinist/tool and die trade for over 19 years, TDR is ISO 9001:2000 certified and MIL-I- 45208 compliant.
TDR's primary performance has been in the aerospace, laser, computer, and food service arenas. We perform prototype research- and development-type work as well as small run production (1 to 1,000 pieces). One of our specialties is aluminum housings for electronic components. We work with a variety of materials including exotic materials and produce all types of components. Our customers include the U.S. Government as well as private and commercial concerns such as Northrop Grumman, SAIC, and CACI.

Some of the metals that can be etched using the PCM - Photochemical Machining Process at ChemArt include: Brass, Copper, Carbon Steels, Nickel, Kovar, Stainless Steel, Beryllium Copper, Phosphor Bronze, Inconel, Alloy 42, Nickel Silver, Invar, Monel, Tin, Mumetal, and various other exotic and electronic alloys.

    Metals can be 0.0005" (0.0127mm) to .0900" (2.286mm) thickness. The typical range is up to .0600" (1.500mm). The standard tolerance is typically 10% of the thickness of the metal or alloy used to produce the part. See our Design Guidelines for more details.

    ChemArt received its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certification in December 1995 and recertified to ISO 9001:2000 in 2001. The most recent renewal of that certification was completed in May of 2006.
