Below is what the electrical requirements are for the cruise and sync pad for a boat dashboard. The switches need to be of high quality and waterproof. The smaller the unit the better, as long as it is very usable, meaning you won’t be hitting two switches at the same time. Something to mount in a 2” hole is preferable.
(1) Switch – RPM Mode ON = Ground; MPH Mode ON = 12 volts; and System OFF = open (ground or 12 volts needs to be constant)
(1) Switch – Set = 12 volts; Cancel = ground (12 volts and ground are momentary signals)
(1) Switch – Speed Increment = 12 volts; Speed Decrement = ground (12 volts and ground are momentary signals)
(1) Switch – Synchronization ON = ground; Synchronization OFF = Open (ground is a constant signal)
(1) Bulb – Cruise Status Lamp (unit supplies 12 volt to bulb, the ECM will provide the ground)
(1) Bulb – Sync Status Lamp (unit supplies 12 volt to bulb, the ECM will provide the ground)
This is a total of (4) switches and (2) bulbs.
The following connector and pinout should be used. The connector needs to be a Deutsch 12-Pin Plug (DT06-12S), with the following pinouts.
1 = empty
2 = empty
3 = Synchronization Status Lamp
4 = empty
5 = empty
6 = empty
7 = empty
8 = Cruise Status Lamp
9 = Speed Increment/Decrement

11 = Cruise Mode (RPM/MPH)
12 = Synchronization
This lead can be 12” long.
The power and ground wires, supply to the switches, can be unterminated at 36” in length for various applications. Please contact buyer with any questions.
