We have cultivated Strong customer loyalty by producing quality fabrications & spinnings with friendly dependability. Douglas Metal Specialties began its existence as C&R Metal Specialties in 1975. The fabricating company established itself as a reliable, service oriented company. C&R was purchased by Doug Glenn in 1983, and the commitment to service and improvement continued. In 1986, Glenn purchased a single lathe and created a new corporation – Douglas Metal Spinning. Glenn slowly nurtured the spinning operation, adding capacity and upgrading technology as the demand warranted. Through the years, the company has added technology and services so that today the enterprise offers a unique array of capabilities through the operations of Douglas Metal Specialties and Douglas Metal Spinning. The Company can handle all ranges of quantities, from high volume, long running product, to very quick turn protoype parts. The Company today provides a wide range of metal fabrication services including: Laser Cutting, Shearing, Punching, Forming, Manual & Robotic Welding & Manual & CNC Metal Spinning. The Company also offers virtually any secondary operation including plating, painting, powder coating, e-coating, assembly & final packaging. Douglas provides a full service for your metal fabrication needs.
