This part is currently manufactured as a weldment of two
spun components, machined after weld and heat treat. We are
exploring the idea of this part being die cast. The solid
models provided are for quoting purposes only, actual
product will vary slightly in wall thickness. There is
minimal machining (turning) of an area of approximately 1/2"
on either side of the outside diameter to insure concentricity.
As we are unsure of the design requirements of die casting,
any input is appreciated. We are looking for a supplier that
can also produce the tooling needed to die cast the part.
