The ChemArt Company has over 30 years of experience as designers, manufacturers, assemblers and distributors of custom decorative products and industrial components. The foremost leader in the decorative photochemical etching process, we offer unique one-of-a-kind keepsakes to commemorate any occasion, recognize a donor, generate revenue for your organization, or create awareness for your cause.
ChemArt stocks many metals and alloys in numerous gauges and tempers. Some of the metals that can be etched using the PCM - Photochemical Machining Process at ChemArt include: Brass, Copper, Carbon Steels, Nickel, Kovar, Stainless Steel, Beryllium Copper, Phosphor Bronze, Inconel, Alloy 42, Nickel Silver, Invar, Monel, Tin, Mumetal, and various other exotic and electronic alloys.
Metals can be 0.0005" (0.0127mm) to .0900" (2.286mm) thickness. The typical range is up to .0600" (1.500mm). The standard tolerance is typically 10% of the thickness of the metal or alloy used to produce the part. See our Design Guidelines for more details.
ChemArt received its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certification in December 1995 and recertified to ISO 9001:2000 in 2001. The most recent renewal of that certification was completed in May of 2006. For over 30 years, ChemArt has been meeting the exacting requirements of the aerospace, automotive, computer, electronics, defense, scientific, and medical industries with the use of the PCM - Photochemical Machining Process, and delivering quality precision etched parts.

Lenz Machining is a family owned and operated business with the ability to provide quality products on time at a competitive price. Located in Wooster, Ohio, we are equipped with the latest in technology CNC equipment as well as manual equipment. We specialize in Waterjet Cutting, CNC Milling, and CNC turning. Let over 50,000 psi make light work of your cutting needs with one of our two Waterjets. Our Omax Waterjets have the capacity to cut larger than 48" x 96" sheets/plates and as thick as 9". These impressive Waterjet Machines can pierce over 3" thick material to service many industries. We specialize in cutting Hastelloy, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Zirconium and many other Heat Resistant Materials. Heat effected areas are not present with this type of machine and water also helps not to warp material. Waterjet Cutting is very effective in reducing scrap with nesting capabilities, requires no secondary edge finishing in many cases, has as little as 0.005" taper per side and can cut nearly any known material. We accompany our waterjets with (2) CNC Mills; one of which is a Chevalier VMC 2040, and the other being a Chevalier VMC3072. CNC turning is not an issue with our Okuma E-Series 8-Turret lathe wtih a 12" swing or our Chevalier FCL-1860A lathe with an 18" swing. Don't forget to take advantage of our Fabrication Department. We have the extended abilities to bend, weld, shear, plasma cut or roll about anything. To benefit our customers with all of these great services we knew we needed to stock many materials to cut down on lead time. We now stock many different types of materials from Aluminum, A-36, Brass, Copper, Pressure Vessel Materials, and many grades of Stainless Steel. These services have helped us be very competitive in the current market and to grow our business in ways our customers benefit from.
