RFQ Notes:
Dear Sirs, We are looking for ALUMINIUM ALLOY CASING of 6061 T-6 Grade. Its inside dia should be min. 110 mm not exceeding 115 mm with wall thickness between 6 to 7 mm.One end of this casing to be permanently closed(with parent metal weld and without oxidation) with 15 to 18 mm thick end plate. Other end of ca sing should have proper machined bore to accomodate 2 sets o f neoprene "O" ring of 3.125 mm thick and placed apart on an End cover of 30 mm thickness. This endcover to protrude 15 mm inside above tubing and 15 mm outside the tubing. This 15 mm endcover (Protruding outside tubing) to have diameter equal to that of O.D. of the above tubing.Distance between end cover surfaces while assembled to be 1000 mm. The casing should withstand a hydrostatic depth of 400 mtrs.The machining of endcover having "O" rings should have standards of finishing width,depth,champher etc alongwith bore of Casing open end. Could you kindly indicate the probable cost involved .The product should accompany with test certificate of pressure testing to 40 bar. Present requirement of above casing is for 4 Nos. A schematic drawing (3/4 Section)is enclosed with Tubing having ID as 110 mm dia. Looking forward to hear from you. Suryakant
