RFQ Notes:
Production of an enclosure. Please see drawings for
dimension specifications. This is a 2-part aluminium
enclosure (housing) and matching back cover (backplate)
for CNC turning. It is a revision of an older design that
buyer is currently using. The part has
been sized so that the raw material is aluminum TUBE (not
rod), to reduce the machining
time. Finish on the front faces only needs to be
fine/smooth/consistent/blemish-free. It
does not need to be a mirror finish, but a smooth satin
finish is fine. Upon acceptance
of quote, buyer can send a sample of the existing parts
for the finish, or let buyer know if
you can make/send a sample.
Currently, buyer needs 100 sets quickly, but use these on
a regular basis. Buyer usually pays
within a few days of receipt of the items.
NOTE that quantities stated above are sets (1 set = 1
housing + 1 backplate).
