RFQ Notes:

Production of a chisel. Approximately 5.560" long x 0.375" wide x 0.125" tall. Please see drawing for complete dimensions. This RFQ is for a high quality, custom chisel blade for woodworking. The material is A2 tool steel. Associated with RFQ# 57462, 57464, 57466, 57468. Please quote all RFQ's together as buyer would like to award all parts to the same supplier. The prototype production pieces were made using ground flat stock A-2, laser cut, machined, deburred, heat treated, lea wheel to remove oxidation, final bevel grind and then laser engraved. It may be better to start with dimensioned flat stock and forego the laser cutting. Ground finish, Ra32 or better, on top and bottom and bevel should be Ra16 or better. No stray scratches or dings are premitted. Hardness needs to be a consistant 60-62 Rc. Buyer may be open to small changes to facilitate easier/cheaper manufacturing processes or fixturing.
