Request for Quote Details:
 |
The specific Machining process that was specified is CNC Machining. |
 |
The specified material is Metal-Other. |
 |
This RFQ was for 1 Each. The estimated annual usage is 100. |
RFQ Notes:
Milling of a rotor.
Approx. 5.1" OD x 0.99" tall
Buyer is going to award this part and rotor half 1 (rfq #
43310) to the same supplier. These 2 parts have been
seperated into seperate rfqs only to minimize
confusion.
Both parts will be made of the same material. Both parts
have similar dimensions so you should be able to
minimize setup time by cutting both out of the same piece
of material if you choose to do that. You do not have to
quote each part individually but can simply quote the
combined cost if you want.
Rotor Half 2 has a diameter of 5.1 inches with a height of
0.99 inches. All depths and heights should be accurate to
plus or minus 3 thousandths of an inch. All x and y
dimensions should be accurate to plus or minus 5
thousandths of an inch except for those shown otherwise in
the drawings.
Both the top and bottom face should be machined and the
bottom face should be face milled for a smooth surface and
care should be taken not to scratch the bottom face after
it has been machined. Also the edges of the chamber holes
should NOT be rounded or smoothed off at all as this may
affect the functioning of this part.
Buyer can provide 2d or 3d CAD drawings of this part to
the winning bidder to be used directly in your CAM
system.
Buyer is considering 3 different materials aluminium 6061,
stainless steel 304, and bearing bronze c932 (sae 660).
Bronze is the prefered metal and aluminium is the least
prefered for this project but buyer has a limited budget
and aluminium is cheapest. Which material buyer chooses
will depend on how large the price differential is.
You can provide a quote for 1, 2, or all of the materials.
If supplier is quoting for more than 1 material just put
the quotes in the comments section.
If supplier has any questions please feel free to contact
buyer.
