RFQ Notes:
The buyer have fabricated this part using a single 0.030"
wide circular saw blade, making multiple passes. The buyer
have also made this part using a ganged arbor (stacked saw
blades), cutting all the slots at once, turning the part 90
degrees and cross cutting all slots again in the next pass.
Only the bottom round base needs to be flat and smooth, all
other surfaces (square pins) can be as machined. Production
of an aluminum machined heat sink. Approximately 1" x 1" x
1". Please check the attached drawing for details . Machine
a pin-fin heat sink, size is less than 1 cubic inch
Material
to be aluminum 6061-T6. Surface roughness on flat side of
round base to be 0.4 micrometer (16 microinch) or better,
all other surfaces to be 64 microinch or better. Surfaces
are to be reasonably free of blemishes and scratches.
Finish
to be black anodize, type II, class II, fixturing marks are
not to be visible once assembled. Please call for any other
