Production of a safe-straw. Approximately 9.2762" x 1.5674"
x 0.3168". Please see drawing for dimension
specifications.
The Safe-Straw is a plastic blow molded straw for the
purpose of everyday drinking. It is different from regular
drinking straws that it has a closed loop at the top that
protects the user from poking themselves. The product must
be blow molded because it is hollow and has a closed loop
which can only be obtained by blow molding.
Material: Food Grade Plastic (PP or PE preferably). Color
is white.
Process: Blow Molding (preferably on a wheel blow molding
machine to increase cycle time) Multi cavity mold to
increase cycle time.
Volume: with a wall thickness of 0.01” the volume is 0.157
CU.IN.
Secondary Process: Stamping or printing logo on web formed
on inside of loop.
Packaging: Individual clear plastic bags, heat sealed for
each straw after printing; Can be very thin plastic. Large
quantities will then be placed in cardboard boxes.
