McElwain Industries, Inc. was established in 1983. The owner of McElwain has been working in the field of fabrication since 1972 along with employees who have graduated from vocational schools with honors in the welding field. Our most experienced employee has over 25 years experience in the automotive design as a journeyman millwright. We serve a variety of industries including smaller companies with less than 100 hundred employees as well as agricultural, heavy equipment, and other steel fabricators.

McElwain Industries, Inc. specializes in custom built products and small production runs. Our custom fabrication is one of our main bragging rights as we have helped many customers design and build products and equipment to fit their specific needs. We have customized heavy equipment buckets and bins to accommodate needs that could not be satisfied with off the shelf products. One of our projects included en environmental drill rig that is used to extract samples for the earth to be tested for hazardous materials. Small production runs are also our favorite. We have low overhead that keeps the cost out of the project. Our staff is quality minded as well as innovative. Many of the jobs we have brought into our shop have been tweaked to improve quality as well as efficiency. All of these savings have been passed along to our customer.

McElwain Industries, Inc. offers a very broad range of equipment to better fit our customers projects as well. Our facility is split into 2 sites. Our east site was built in 1983 and is being used for storage, overflow and small paint jobs. The west site is brand that is 90’ x 100’ and 24’ ceilings. It has been constructed on 5 plus acres with expansion in mind. This is our main building that is used for fabrication and welding needs. The two buildings are located less that one mile apart which makes for easy traveling. We have CAD Lite software inhouse to assist us with any design challenges you may face.

    McElwain Industries, Inc. has fabricated many items. Some jobs are fabricated using a blue print, while others may be from a photo, hand drawn sketch, a modification of a current product or an idea that has not been documented. Through these events, we have produced various products including:

McElwain Industries, Inc. is also a stand our for quality. We have 100% inspection with random checks. Tight tolerances are gauged periodically in accordance with the machine and part. We currently have an employee who was an auditor for ISO 9000 certified through British Standard Institute. Our inspection reports can be made available at your request and we will work with our vendors to determine critical parameters.
