A-1 Production has become a Leader in Custom Machining through experience by machining various materials and components for 59 years and continuing to grow and change with the world around us. A-1 is a true job shop, we are versatile enough to make large volumes or small runs. If it's round, square or hex we can turn it, drill it,mill it, and/or bore it to meet your specifications. We machine complex and simple configurations of various metals and alloys. Our CNC's lathes with live tooling and bar feeding abilities help us to make complex parts in one operation where there are milled flats, grooves or cross holes. Our machining is based on actual experience and ongoing training to increase speed and reduce your costs to do business with A-1 Production. Our core competency comes from years of machining hardened and ground steel bushings straight or with shoulders, straight grooves, spiral grooves, cross holes drilled and tapped. We machine fittings, adapters, pins and spacers from steel, stainless steel, carbon alloys, bronze, brass, aluminum and monel. A-1 does milling and turning of castings of various materials up to 22" square using our MAZAK 600 series mill with rotating turntable for long runs of larger parts.

A-1 Production was founded in 1949, and continues to advance with new technology replacing older equipment with new CNC turning centers increasing our total throughput capacity and reducing your costs. We have just added a new production saw to our equipment to reduce the time spent cutting material for bar feeding and for single piece operations. Everyone at A-1 works to reduce costs and maintain quality in all of the work we do. These cost savings are passed on to the customer for lower pricing.
