Request for Quote Details:

The specific Machining process that was specified is 5 Axis Machining.
 The specified material is Metal-Aluminum.
This RFQ was for 3, 20, and 50 Sets. The estimated annual usage is 100.

RFQ Notes:

Production of a plate set. NOTE: .STP files are also available.

Production of aluminum parts. Please see drawing for dimension specifications. Part machining and clear anodizing.

Note: There has been an issue with the machining of a detail on the LOWER LENS PLATE. There are "pockets" on the inside edge of the part that call for a 0.474 radiused cut. It has been pointed out that the cuts are too far from the edge to get a small slot cutter in position. There is some flexability with regard to this detail. An end mill cut will be OK as long as the radius at the 6:00 O'clock position meets the 0.474 dimension and the radius of the balance of the cut on either side is equal or greater than 0.474" at any point along the cut. What is important at these locations are the 0.015" high ridges (radius0.460") and a flat cross section at the 6'00 o'clock position.
This RFQ was awarded online at www.MFG.com to a Machine Shop in Saginaw, Michigan United States United States.
The annualized value of this RFQ was $161,978 USD to a Machine Shop who is a member of the www.MFG.com service.
