What is Clicker Die?
Clicker dies are used in the metal stamping process to form parts from thin steel and aluminum stock. Metal stamping and clicker dies are used in a variety of industries including automotive, electronics, medical, consumer products and aerospace. Clicker dies are normally designed and manufactured by tool and die shops. Typically a designer will study the final geometry of the part to be formed and design a die or set of dies that will produce the part with no or minimal post processing required.
